अमलतास: यह उत्तम भेदक है। अर्थात कड़े मल के टुकड़ों को भेद कर मुलायम बनाकर मलद्वार से बाहर निकाल कर बड़ी आँत को शुद्ध करता है। इसकी आवश्यकता समय बीतने पर कम होती जाती है। एक चम्मच अमलतास गोंद को आधा कप पानी में आधे घंटे तक भिगोकर रखें, फिर भोजन के बाद छानकर वह पानी पी लें।

Amaltas– It is good colon cleanser. It softens the stool to remove it from colon. So it can never be harm full to take for long time. Its requirement reduces by the time. It is taken after an hour of meals. Take one tea spoon of Amaltas, soak in 1/2 cup of warm water, wait for half an hour, strain it to remove hard particls, Drink the extract. It should not be taken more than two tea spoon in a day.
